Description
The A-100NA FLEXFLO® Peristaltic Metering Pump is a positive displacement chemical metering pump that delivers smooth, continuous chemical feed. It is especially effective when injecting chemicals that off-gas, like Sodium Hypochlorite. The peristaltic technology is a near-continuous flow that delivers consistent precise flow without the need for check valves.
Flow adjustment on the A-100NA Peristaltic Pump is a simple 60 second timer-based control. There are no stroke and spring adjustments. There are no valves that can clog or require maintenance.
Maintenance of the A-100NA Peristaltic is easy, requiring only simple tube changes. Tube changes only take a few minutes.
The A-100NA Peristaltic Pump is supplied with Flex-A-Prene® tubing for optimum chemical resistance. Housing is a durable chemical resistant Valox (PBT) thermoplastic.
The A-100NA peristaltic pump is self priming – even against maximum line pressure. By-pass valves are not required. The A-100NA cannot vapor lock or lose prime.
Output volume is not affected by changes in back pressure.
Patented pump tube design installs easily and stays centered on the rollers without manual adjustment

Applications
The A-100NA pump is designed to provide smooth chemical feed for a variety of chemicals and processes. It can reliably pump chemicals that off-gas, such as sodium hypochlorite, and is compatible with most acids and bases, such as muriatic acid.
The A-100NA is effective with suction lifts and solutions with minor debris that would normally cause issues with diaphragm pumps.

Frequently Asked Questions
A-100NA Introduction
- What is TFD?
TFD is an acronym meaning Tube Failure Detection. Blue-White peristaltic pumps are equipped with a Tube Failure Detection System. The patented system is designed to stop the pump in the event chemical enters the pump head. The system monitors conductivity readings across two sensors located inside the pump head. This system is capable of detecting the presence of a large number of chemicals.
What is Sodium Hypochlorite, and why 12½% ?Sodium hypochlorite, commonly known in a dilute solution as (chlorine) bleach, is an inorganic chemical compound with the formula NaOCl. Sodium hypochlorite is most often encountered as a pale greenish-yellow dilute solution referred to as liquid bleach, which is a household chemical widely used (since the 18th century) as a disinfectant or a bleaching agent. In solution, the compound is unstable and easily decomposes. Household bleach sold for use in laundering clothes is a 5-1/4 % solution of sodium hypochlorite at the time of manufacture. Strength varies from one formulation to another and gradually decreases with long storage. A 12-1/2 % solution is widely used in waterworks for the chlorination of water, and a 15 % solution is more commonly used for disinfection of waste water in treatment plants.
