Common Issues
F-300 is not reading accurately – Check the straight length of pipe requirements and ensure the unit is installed properly. Check to ensure the unit is rated for the size pipe onto which it is installed.
F-300 does not read anything – Check that the pump is operating properly. Check the unit to ensure it was installed in the proper direction of flow. Debris may be blocking the inlet of the flow meter. Remove and clean.
The float is stuck – Remove the flow meter and clean it properly. Ensure the float is installed correctly with a larger diameter at the top. Contact the factory if the problem persists.
F-300S Flow Switch
The contact does not close when the float is in the range – Check that you are using the proper magnetized float that comes with the F-300S or F-300SL float switch. Ensure the float switch is tightened properly onto the F-300 flow meter.
The contact stays closed when the float is out of range – Check to make sure there are no tools or other metal components (magnetic) adjacent to the switch.
My device does not react when the flow is in the range – Check cables and wiring for proper connection. Ensure signal wiring is connected to proper terminals.
