About the A4 Pump
The A4 (Legacy) Pump is designed to be simple and easy to operate. The pump comes with pre-installed and tested firmware. If firmware has not been updated recently, firmware for this pump may need to be updated.
Firmware Updates
A Firmware Update may be required periodically to ensure the A4 (Legacy) pump has the latest updates. To check for firmware updates, note the firmware version while the pump is starting up. The pump may be required to power off first. Contact Blue-White, or an authorized service center, for further instruction.
Reset to Factory Default, and Hard Reset
The A4 (Legacy) pump can be reset to original factory settings by accessing “Reset to Factory Defaults” in the Configuration Menu.
A pump “Hard Reset” can be performed by pressing and holding the Up Arrow and Down Arrow simultaneously when the pump is powered on, and holding the buttons until the pump start-up is complete. This will clear all settings and reset all functions.

Legacy A3/A4:
- Unplug the pump from the power source
- Press and hold the up and down arrow buttons while plugging the pump back into power
- Keep pressing and holding until the pump boots up completely
A3S/A4S:

How do I reboot my pump?A3 and A4 pumps can be re-started by removing power and then reconnecting power. The A3S and A4S models include a power switch at the rear on the unit, which also acts a a resettable circuit breaker. If a complete “Factory Reset” of the pump is desired:
Legacy A3/A4:
- Unplug the pump from the power source
- Press and hold the up and down arrow buttons while plugging the pump back into power
- Keep pressing and holding until the pump boots up completely
A3S/A4S:
- Go to Settings, open System, and Select “Factory Reset” and press “Continue” . The pump will automatically reboot and run the initial set-up process.
