Common Issues
Leaking. Check all O-rings for wear or damage. Ensure the union nut is tightened properly. Review the installation guide and instructions.
Moisture in enclosure. Some condensation in the display is normal. Excessive condensation from high humidity or poor panel gasket can damage the electronics. Check panel gasket for wear and proper alignment. Remove the unit from the humid environment, open the enclosure, let the unit dry, and check and re-install the gasket and back panel.
Flow rate reading is incorrect. Incorrect readings are generally due to incorrect installation. Check the straight length of pipe requirements. Ensure the pipe is full and has a minimum of back pressure. (Discharge pipes flowing downhill and are open to the atmosphere will read incorrectly.) Check the paddlewheel for wear or debris. Large, stringy, and metallic debris will cling to the paddlewheel. Replace the paddlewheel if showing any wear.
No display. Check power supply. Check batteries. All batteries must be fresh. If there is still no display, the electronics could be damaged. Contact factory.
Display shows zero flow. Check to ensure no debris is stuck in the paddlewheel. Be sure to check saddle alignment. Ensure there is a full pipe.

Frequently Asked Questions
F-2000 Troubleshooting
- I have flow going through the pipe but the F-2000 diplay screen shows 0. What is causing this?
Possible causes:
- The paddle wheel is worn, broken or missing. Replace the paddle wheel & axle.
- The pipe is not full. Make sure there is a full pipe condition.
- The flow rate is under the calibrated range of the meter.
- The required before and after straight lengths of pipe run have not been met in the installation. Extend pipe lengths or install in different area where the lengths can be met.
I see condensation on my display screen. How do I prevent this? The meter is designed to withstand minor condensation inside the enclosure. Prolonged excessive moisture inside the enclosure, due to high humidity conditions, may damage the meter. Reduce the humidity or move the meter to a less humid location.
