Types of suction and discharge tubing
Chemical feed pumps require suction and discharge tubing with proper sizing and chemical and pressure requirements.
Suction tubing must be of the proper length to connect to the feed tank or rigid suction piping. It can be low-pressure tubing but must have enough strength for any suction or vacuum condition.
Discharge tubing must be high-pressure tubing exceeding the expected discharge pressure of the pumping system. Rigid or reinforced tubing is used for discharge.
All tubing material must be compatible with the chemical being pumped. Do not assume that the tubing provided with the pump is compatible with your solution.
