Features
Overview
- Tough machined acrylic body, annealed, highly polished to a clear finish
- Direct reading permanent scale
- Minimum detectable flow rate = 50 ml/min (0.80 GPH)
- Maximum flow rate = 158.5 GPH
- PVC adapters with high grade Viton o-ring seals and polypropylene half unions
- Ceramic flow indicator ball
- Acceptable in direct sunlight applications
Benefits of a flow indicator
- “Half union” style fittings for quick disassembly, aides in cleaning and/or replacement
- Annealed cast acrylic for enhanced strength and chemical resistance
- Dual taper detects for maximum flow range (200:1 turndown)
Visual Indicators
- Rhythmic rising and falling of the ball indicates positive flow
- Air bubbles indicate chemical has exhausted
- Stationary ball indicates no flow
Diagnostic Capabilities
- Lost prime
- Stopped motor
- Plugged injection fitting
- Faulty tube or diaphragm
- Plugged or dirty foot valve filter
- Chemical has been exhausted for a lengthy period of time
