Frequently Asked Questions
APNTU Introduction
- Define turbidity
Turbidity is a measure of the cloudiness or haziness of a fluid caused by suspended particles that are not dissolved. These particles can include silt, clay, organic matter, plankton, and other fine particles that are suspended in water. Turbidity affects the clarity and transparency of water and is often used as an indicator of water quality and environmental health.
