General Maintenance
The C-600P pump requires very little maintenance. However, the pump and all accessories should be checked weekly. This is especially important when pumping chemicals that may have solids or precipitate. Inspect all components for signs of clogging, leaking, swelling, cracking, discoloration or corrosion. Replace worn or damaged components immediately.
Cleaning Ball Checks, Strainer, and Injection Valves
If pumping a solution that has particulate or may contain particles or precipitate, checking and cleaning ball check cartridges, suction strainer, and injection valve periodically will be necessary.
Replacing Diaphragms
C-600P pump diaphragms are designed for long life. Depending on operating conditions and the solution being pumped, the diaphragm will need to be replaced periodically. We recommend keeping track of diaphragm replacement and keeping spare diaphragm kits on hand. If a diaphragm failure occurs, please refer to the instruction manual for diaphragm replacement instructions. If there are any questions regarding a diaphragm failure or leak, please contact the factory for assistance. When contacting the factory, please provide the chemical, flow rate, system pressure, and pump serial number.
