Set-Up and Controls

Prior to Operation – System Review 

After the CO₂ Feed System has been installed, all components should be checked again for proper alignment and secure connections.  Ensure all connections are tight and the hardware for the supports are secure. 

Check electrical connections and wiring (to be done by qualified personnel).   

System will be active when power is provided, and CO₂ is provided to the system.  

Start-Up 

1. Introduce CO₂ to the system by opening the valve on the pressure regulator. Adjust to desired pressure. 
2. Turn the switch on the CO₂ Feed System to “On”. The switch will illuminate.  
3. Adjust needle valve on flow meter to desired flow. Start at a low setting and increase with feedback on pH readings.  

When the system is not in use, close the regulator valve and switch the system to “Off.”
