Typical Operation and Output
The MICRO-FLO will operate properly when a minimum of flow is provided to the paddlewheel. The paddlewheel will spin and the infra-red sensor will count the rotations.
It is recommended to run the flow sensor at 25% above the minimum flow rate to ensure the paddlewheel continues to spin consistently (due to differences in fluid viscosity and fouling.) If the paddlewheel spins at a flow rate above the maximum, damage can occur to the paddlewheel or axle.
