What cables and cords are required for use with Blue-White pumps?
Blue-White pumps require a power source to operate. The power requirement can vary depending on the pump model. Most, but not all, pumps come with a power cord wired into the pump or a detachable power cord provided in the pump packaging. Some pumps will require alternate wiring and power cords, depending on their final installation location.
Pumps using detachable cords have an IEC C13 to C14 connection. Detachable cords used with Blue-White pumps should be a minimum 18 gauge, 300V rated cable appropriate for the chemical environment where they will be used.
Pumps may also need communication and signal (input/output) wiring and cables. Blue-White pumps do not include signal wires/cables, which must be purchased separately. The quantity and length of these will vary greatly depending on the required communication, location and installation requirements.
