General Maintenance
The MS6 Chemical Feed requires minimal maintenance. During normal operation, there is no need for regular maintenance.
If the unit has not been in service for an extended period, it is recommended to inspect the fluid path and flush with clean water before using again.
With some chemicals that contain particulate, periodic cleaning and flushing may be required.
The MS6 is easily removed via true-union connections on each end of the unit. Be sure to drain fluid from piping before servicing.
Ensure that no chemical is dripped on MS6 from leaking piping. Chemical exposure to the outside of the unit may damage display.
Caution: Use care when reinstalling MS6 to maintain O-ring gasket integrity. Failure to O-rings properly may void warranty.
Re-Calibration
If the system flow rate changes significantly from initial calibration and Digital Drawdown, then we recommend performing a Digital Drawdown for the new flowrate to maintain optimum accuracy.

- What if I need to remove the MS6 for maintenance or cleaning, but still need to feed chemicals?
The MS6 does not require frequent maintenance when used with a strainer on clean chemicals. Occasionally, the unit may need to be removed if debris is present.
